Riverwood Crafts – Shipping Policy

Overview

At Riverwood Crafts, every item is handmade with care. Because of this, shipping times and processes may differ slightly from mass‑produced products. This policy explains how we pack, ship, and deliver your jewellery, wooden chopping boards, and other handcrafted pieces. River Wood Crafts is owned and operated by MIC Animal Services. All purchases are made with MIC Animal Services.

Processing Times

  • Made‑to‑order items: 3–7 business days (Some pieces require additional finishing or curing time.)

  • Ready‑to‑ship items: 1–2 business days

  • Orders placed on weekends or bank holidays are processed the next working day.

If your order contains multiple items, they may ship together or separately depending on size and fragility.

Shipping Rates & Methods

We currently ship within the United Kingdom using trusted carriers such as Royal Mail and APC overnight, we may use other companies when required.

Standard Shipping

  • Delivery time: 2–4 business days

  • Cost: Calculated at checkout based on weight and size.

Express Shipping

  • Delivery time: 1–2 business days

  • Cost: Calculated at checkout.

Free Shipping

Occasionally offered during promotions or for orders over a certain value. Any active free‑shipping thresholds will be clearly displayed on the website.

Packaging

All items are packaged securely to protect them during transit. Where possible, we use recyclable or biodegradable packaging materials to reduce our environmental impact.

Wooden items (such as chopping boards) may be shipped in protective padded boxes, while jewellery is packaged in gift boxes or pouches.

Order Tracking

Once your order has been dispatched, where possible you will receive a confirmation email containing:

  • Your tracking number

  • The courier used

  • A link to follow your parcel’s progress

If tracking is unavailable for certain low‑value items, this will be noted at checkout.

Delivery Issues

If your parcel is delayed, lost, or arrives damaged:

We will work with the courier to resolve the issue and arrange a replacement or refund where appropriate.

Incorrect Addresses

Please double‑check your shipping details at checkout. Riverwood Crafts cannot be held responsible for delays or lost parcels caused by incorrect or incomplete addresses. If a parcel is returned to us, we can resend it — additional postage charges may apply.

International Shipping

International shipping is not currently offered, but we plan to expand this in the future. Updates will be posted on our website and social channels.

When you purchase from River Wood Crafts, you are entering into an agreement with MIC Animal Services, which is the legal entity responsible for processing orders, managing customer data, and fulfilling all statutory obligations.
